Winter Olympics: Days counting down for Irish Olympians

The countdown is on for this year's Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City with just 25 days to go until the opening ceremony on February 8. Ireland will be well represented, with a bobsleigh team, two skiers and a competitor in the skeleton category all gunning for Olympic glory.

Ireland's Chef de Mission or Team Leader for the games is Larry Treacy, one of the founders of the Irish Bobsleigh Association, who has already managed Ireland in the Bobsleigh event at previous winter games in Albertville and Nagano.

Treacy is to be interviewed on RTÉ Radio 1's 5-7 Live programme this evening.
