Ice Hockey: Bees defeat puts Giants nine clear

Belfast Giants have claimed an eighth successive home win with a 5-2 Superleague triumph over Bracknell Bees at the Odyssey Arena this evening. Goals from Jason Ruff, Curt Bowen (2) and Paxton Schulte gave the league frontrunners a 4-0 lead.

Mark Turner and Darren Hurley pulled two back for the Bees, whose poor away form has seen them go seven games without a win on the road. Any hopes of a Bees comeback were ended by Colin Ward's winning goal for the Giants, who now move nine points clear at the top.
