Another Group One for O'Brien

Ballydoyle maestro Aidan O'Brien won yet another Group One race when his Sholokhov took the Gran Criterium at San Siro in Italy today. The two-year-old, racing in the colours of Sue Magnier and Michael Tabor, was an easy winner of the mile-long contest under Michael Kinane, who scored for the trainer with Rock Of Gibraltar at Newmarket yesterday.

Second was hat-trick seeking Swing Wing, trained by Paul Cole, and third was Mister Cosmi, from the Middleham stable of Mark Johnston, whose nine-year-old Yavana's Pace won at Longchamp today. Fourth was Mamool, trained by David Loder and ridden by Frankie Dettori.
