Nilsson confirmed as Coventry boss

Coventry Chairman Bryan Richardson has confirmed that Roland Nilsson will take charge of the club on a permanent basis after his excellent run of results since taking over as caretaker manager. The Swede was appointed last month after the departure of Gordon Strachan, and since then has steered the team to five wins, two draws with only one loss.

"We are all absolutely delighted that Roland has agreed to be our manager. Roland has had a fantastic start to his managerial career and we have great confidence in his ability to get us back into the Premier League and take us forward from there," Richardson told the club's official website.
