Moyes rejects Leicester rumours

Preston manager David Moyes has rejected reports that he will apply for the vacant manager's job at Leicester City. Local newspapers had linked the North End boss with a move to Filbert Street following Peter Taylor's sacking on Monday morning.

Highly rated Moyes has emphasised his intentions to take Preston into the Premiership. "I signed a new contract in the summer and I enjoy working with Preston North End. I want to work in the Premier League, but I want to do that with Preston. I enjoy working with and improving the players. I wouldn't consider applying for the job at Leicester City," he said.
