Magnificent seven for O'Brien

Aidan O'Brien (seven) and David Loder (three) dominate the 18 confirmations for the Group Two Hackney Empire Royal Lodge Stakes at Ascot on Saturday. O'Brien's seven includes Sholokov, who was third to his stablemate Hawk Wing and Loder's Naheef in the National Stakes at the Curragh earlier this month.

The trio from Loder's Newmarket yard for the Group Two race over the round mile are Imtiyaz, Lahooq and Mamool. Bragadino, runner-up to Naheef in the Champagne Lanson Vintage Stakes at Goodwood, is Sir Michael Stoute's sole entry.
