Keohane aims to continue winning ways

Irish racer Michael Keohane aims to continue his winning ways in this weekend's rounds of the British F3 Championship at Knockhill in Scotland. Keohane claimed a first and second last time out in Donnington Park five weeks ago and is confident he can add to his three wins of the season so far in this weekend's two 26-lap races.

Having moved into the joint lead of the series at rounds 11 and 12 at Rockingham, the Irishman's campaign was dealt a major blow at the following event in Castle Combe, when he was eliminated at the first corner in both races. Now currently third in the Scholarship standings, Michael needs two strong results this weekend to keep his title hopes alive.

Making a welcomed return to Scotland for the first time since 1975, this weekends' F3 action will see drivers in the Scholarship Class get their first opportunity to take overall victory as the grids are split at the tight 1.3 mile circuit, which is situated near Dunfermline. Keohane's main opposition will come from series leader Britain's Robbie Kerr, Northern Ireland's Matthew Gilmore, Dutchman Robert Doornbos and Brazil's Ernani Judice.
