England's Tony Worswick won the Irish SuperPrix at the revamped Mondello Park this afternoon. Jordans did battle with Ferraris in Round Three of the EuroBOSS series of Ex-Formula One cars. Thousands of spectators at Mondello felt the full power and heat of Formula One.
Klaas Zwart's awesome 1995 ex-Gerhard Berger Ferrari V12 made its Irish debut, but he had to retire with a damaged front after just five laps. Worswick repeated his 1999 success to win the race in a Jordan Judd V-10. He finished the 15-lap race in a time of 23 minutes and 30 seconds. Ireland's Sarah Kavanagh raced the fastest lap in her Team E-Merge First Active and finished second overall.
