Keohane tops F3 testing at Silverstone

Top Irish international racing driver Michael Keohane topped the time sheets during the first official day of testing for the 2001 British F3 Championship at Silverstone today. Driving his Irish Cement backed Dallara F398 on the international circuit, the 20-year-old from Cork set the fastest time of the day to end up six-tenths of a second quicker than his nearest rival.

Running with Irish team Meritus Racing, Keohane will compete against 21 drivers from around the world this season for top F3 Scholarship Class honours.
