Scotland snatch draw with late tries

watch

Scotland grabbed two tries in the final five minutes to deny Wales Six Nations glory at Murrayfield this afternoon. Twelve points adrift, the Scots looked down and out, only for James McLaren to set up the fightback by cutting to the line and prop Tom Smith to take it to the brink by galloping in from 20 metres. But nerveless fly-half Duncan Hodge was the real hero, who converted Smith's try to level the scores at 28-28 after taking over goalkicking duties from misfiring first choice kicker Kenny Logan. This was only the second draw in over a century of combat between the two nations.
