Flo injured in Florida friendly
Saturday, 20 January 2001 13:59Norwegian international striker Tore Andre Flo was taken to hospital after injuring an ankle playing for Rangers on their winter break in Florida. Flo's badly swollen ankle was X-rayed and the Scottish champions will learn later on today if it has to be put in plaster.
Flo was signed for a record Scottish transfer fee of 12 million pounds ($17.66 million) from English premier league Chelsea two months ago. The Scottish premier league re-starts on January 31 with Dick Advocaat's side trailing leaders Celtic by 12 points.
