Flo injured in Florida friendly

Norwegian international striker Tore Andre Flo was taken to hospital after injuring an ankle playing for Rangers on their winter break in Florida. Flo's badly swollen ankle was X-rayed and the Scottish champions will learn later on today if it has to be put in plaster.

Flo was signed for a record Scottish transfer fee of 12 million pounds ($17.66 million) from English premier league Chelsea two months ago. The Scottish premier league re-starts on January 31 with Dick Advocaat's side trailing leaders Celtic by 12 points.
