GAA: Sixmilebridge through to Munster Final

Sixmilebridge are through to the Munster Club Hurling Final after they beat Patrickswell by a single point today. The Clare side snatched this tie with a point in injury time to win by 0-13 to 0-12. They will now take on Mount Sion in the final next Sunday in Thurles. Limerick champions Patrickswell had the breeze in their favour at the end of the first half but only held a four-point margin at the break. In the second half, Sixmilebridge had the edge but only went in front with ten minutes remaining. Patrickswell scored the first point of the second half but then had to wait 18 minutes before they could add to it. With the final puck of the game, a Patrickswell 65 went inches wide and Sixmilebridge were through to the final.

In the Waterford Crystal Senior Hurling League, All-Ireland champions Kilkenny beat Wexford 2-10 to 1-10, Limerick defeated Tipperary 0-15 to 0-11 and Waterford drew with Laois, with both sides notching up 1-08 each.
