Soccer: Former Irish star John Aldridge hit with third misconduct charge

Tranmere manager and former Republic hero, John Aldridge, could be in further hot water with the FA after facing a third misconduct charge in the last four months. Aldridge will be under investigation for remarks he made to a fourth official during the first division game with Portsmouth at Fratton Park on March 1st.

He hsa already been charged for alledged comments he made to referee Jeff Winter in the game against Birmingham City at the back end of last year, and he also faces a charge over his alledged bust up with Theo Zagorakis.
