Rugby: Leinster beat Glasgow Caledonians

Leinster beat Glasgow Caledonians at Donnybrook tonight to keep alive their hopes of advancing to the quarter-finals of the European Rugby Cup. Leinster beat the Scottish side by 44 points to 17. Coach Mike Ruddock named an unchanged line up to that which beat Stade Francais in their last game. With the return of Girvan Dempsey to the reserve bench after injury gave Ruddock a very strong squad to play with.

Glasgow Caledonians coach Richie Dixon named a full strength side for tonight's clash. Caledonians had been struggling to shake a 'flu bug that had hit the camp and had delayed their selection as a result. However all were declared fit at a team meeting this morning proving a major boost to the sides chances to gain an advantage in the group.
