Rhythm and Strumming

HOW TO

When you are playing the guitar, one of the first things you learn is how to strum, which helps you play songs. You can learn how to strum and keep rhythm by following some of Fiachna’s top tips!

1. Use your foot to tap along to the beat to help you keep in time with the music.

2. Use “up beats” (strumming downwards) and “down beats” (strumming upwards) to make the tune sound interesting.
