Jazz is a cool style of music that comes from America. You can learn how make music sound “jazzy” by following some of Tom’s top tips!

1.Change the rhythm: By changing the rhythm or (beat) of a song this can make it sound jazzy.
2.Using the 7th note in a Chord: On a piano, you can play a chord by playing a set of notes together from the music scale. Usually, a chord is played using the 1st note, the 3rd note and 5th note of the scale together. If you add in the 7th note, it gives a really jazzy sound.
