Chlann Lir

HOW TO

Donie and Nora are learning about the story of Chlann Lir. Top ballet dancer Monica Loughman teaches brother and sister Nora and Eoghan from Dublin how to act out the story through ballet dancing.

Chlann Lir is an old Irish story about children who have been turned into swans. Follow Monica’s top tips on how to act out the story through ballet.

1. Spread your arms out so they look like wings and you move them up and down so it looks like you are flying.

2. Stand on your tippy toes and move around in a circle so it is like you are a swan swimming on the lake.

Try act out the story of Chlann by dancing! Watch episode for more tips from Monica.
