Materials:
Brown card
Paper plate
Coloured paper
Two cups

Steps:
1) Roll a large sheet of brown card into a cylinder.
2) Fold the top of the cylinder down to make two ear shapes.
3) Paint a paper plate brown.
4) When dry cut two triangles from the plate for wings.
5) Pierce a hole in the wings and insert fold back pins.
6) Insert fold back pins into the back of the owl to secure.

7) Cut out small triangles from different types of paper – brown, red, yellow etc.
Stick triangles (feathers) to the front of the owl’s body.

9) Cut two cups in half, paint yellow and stick two eyes (black on white paper circles) to the middle of the cups.
10) Stick cups to head.
11) Cut out beak from folded piece of yellow card and stick to head.
12) Add yellow feathers to top of owl’s head.
