Dazzling Lights at Night

HOW TO

Materials:
Cardboard
Black paper
Chalk
White paper
Blue and Silver card

Steps:
1) Cut out a cardboard template of a skyline of buildings.
2) Place the template to a large black sheet of paper.
3) Using as piece of coloured chalk, rub around the edge of the template.
4) Stop 1/3 of the way through and change the colour of the chalk.
5) Continue to rub the chalk around edge of the template, changing 2/3 of the way though to another colour.

6) When the template is removed it looks like a silhouette of a building with bright lights behind it.
7) Create two more rows of building in this way.
8) Add windows by sticking squares of white paper randomly to the buildings.

9) Add blocks of card to the back two rows of buildings to raise them off the table (one needs to be higher than the other).
10) Stick the rows of buildings down to a large sheet of blue card, starting from the back and working your way up to the front.
11) Make a bright moon by cutting out a crescent shaped from silver card and stick to the blue card.
