What drives a woman to blow the whistle and destroy the career of her own husband? In 1999, Sheenagh McMahon revealed that - to further his career - her husband, Detective Garda Noel McMahon, had made and planted homemade explosives, later claiming them as significant IRA explosives finds.

The revelation led to the establishment of the Morris Tribunal, and was to have devastating personal implications for McMahon herself. In her first extensive interview, Sheenagh McMahon tells Alan Torney why she became a Whistleblower.
