Under The Whip

The weekly quiz on politics returns to RTÉ Radio 1. The objectives of the game are simple.  To use your current affairs knowledge, in-depth analysis and journalistic know-how to answer more questions than your opponent. What Under the Whip means: the rounds of questions are either team or individual, but when it comes to the individual questions team members can choose to be under the whip or to break the whip.

"Basically, think of two teams battling out the week's news stories, home ones and foreign. We're handpicking contestants for their wit, so it's all about having a bit of fun and a lot of camaraderie", says the programme presenter, Kay Sheehy.
