Just My Type: A Book About Fonts

Author: Simon Garfield
Publisher: Profile Books

By the time we all get to work every day, i.e. even before we look at a computer screen – we’ve probably been reading for a couple of hours. And I don’t mean reading newspapers or books but things like, the alarm clock, the tooth paste tube, the cereal packet, the road sign, the train timetable – the sign that says ‘push’ on the office door.

Simon Garfield is the author of a new book called, Just My Type: A Book About Fonts which looks behind the fonts which play a huge part in our daily lives.
