To Cork where the Cork City Manager Tim Lucey has urged people to stay out of the city centre this evening due to the potential for serious flooding which is expected in the city centre between 8 and 10pm, with high tide due just before 9pm. Sean was joined by Leo O'Callaghan of O'Callaghan TV and Hi Fi Shop which was flooded and Clare Nash who owns Nash 19 on Princes street in Cork and who  is also the Director of Cork Business Association. He was also joined by former Green Party minister, Ciaran Cuffe; Minister of State at the OPW, Brian Hayes and by Tom Hurley a farmer in East Galway.

Adoption: Mother and Son reunited after 44 years

The Oscar nominated film, Philomena  is the story of one of the many young unmarried mothers in Ireland  who had their babies given up for adoption due to societal and family pressures. Today and tomorrow, Brian O’Connell reports on the children who were given up for adoption and the search undertaken by their birth mothers to reunite with the child they were forced to give up.
