    Moving Bank Accounts

    Market research shows many of us are unhappy with our banks but we are decidedly unlikely to move our accounts. Customers of Danske Bank and ACC will soon have to switch as both of those institutions exit the Irish retail banking market. Conor Brophy has been looking at why we are so reluctant to move banks despite our dissatisfaction and whether it might be worth your while to do so.







    Surprising as it may seem the college application process for students looking to start college in September 2014 is already underway with many colleges running open days over the next few weekends.  Over the next three months, 77,000 people will apply through the CAO for places in Universities, Institutes of Technology and Private Colleges.  Brian Mooney talks to Sean.




    School Choir

    We had a lot of reaction to last week's item featuring the boys from Dublin's Blackrock College, the first school to qualify for the Grand Final of the all island school choir of the year competition.  So today we  hear from the second competitors to qualify - the girls from Strathearn School in East Belfast. They performed the beautiful Seal Lullaby composed by Eric Whitacre.
