    Climate Change Conference

Key leaders from the worlds of science, business, politics and culture will come to Ballyvaughan, County Clare next month to work on a new narrative on climate change, as according to my next guest, funding for cleaner energy is drying up and in Ireland we are unlikely to meet our 2020 climate targets, despite the fall-off in emissions associated with the economic downturn. So are we relying on the recession to keep to our Kyoto targets?

The Climate Gathering will take place at The Burren College of Art between the 14th -17th of February and will be convened by former Minister for the Environment, Eamon Ryan.
