    The Crisis in Gaza.

    After a week of rocket and bomb attacks in Gaza and Israel efforts are continuing to secure a truce. It is reported that 110 Palestinians and three Israelis have been killed so far.

    The Israeli army has been targeting Hamas controlled buildings in Gaza – but many civilians have been killed. A father and his two sons - thought to be two and four - were killed overnight, according to a Hamas spokesman.

    Robert Turner, Director of UNRWA Operations in Gaza joined Pat as did Richard Crowley who is in Jerusalem.

    The Difficulties of growing up Gay in Ireland.

    The French Film Festival is on at the moment and one of the films caught our eye. Called the Invisibles it focuses on the lives of eleven elderly gay men and women portraying what life was like growing up gay in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Well we decided to take this opportunity to look at the lives of three Irish gay people who experienced the difficulties of growing up gay in Ireland of the same period. Pat was joined in studio by Eddie Parsons who is 67, Chris Robson Founder member of GLEN (Gay And Lesbian Equality Network) who is in his 70s and the baby of the group Ruth Illingsworth the Fine Gael Counsellor and Caithearlach of Mullingar Town Council

    Sinn Fein Budget Launch

    Another budget looms on 5th December with the Government planning to take €3.5 billion in taxes and cuts out of this budget. Sinn Fein has just launched their pre budget submission and Pearse Doherty Sinn Fein Spokesman on Finance joined Pat to discuss their proposals.

    So far, 2012 has been a very busy time for Dublin-based singer-songwriter Gavin James –through a series of live performances and showcases, he has got the industry talking about him as “One To Watch”! He once was an AC/DC acolyte but Gavin is now most recognisable for a most distinctive voice. The young Dubliner who got Adele's manager rocking was with Pat in studio this morning.
