The Poem and the Place

The Poem and the Place brings together poems and the places that inspired them in a montage of sound and words.

The programme is compiled by Dave McHugh, a researcher/ programme-maker based in the Radio 1 Features, Arts and Documentaries department, Dave has been working in RTÉ since 1996, and has contributed to a variety of daytime and Features and Arts programmes, including the award-winning Radio One World.
