This morning on the John Murray Show we have Irish playwright Manchán Magan in studio with John to discuss the fragility of the Irish Language, a subject very close to his heart! His play 'Broken Croi/Heart Briste' was described as one of the most accessible & interesting Irish language dramas in recent years.
(Manchán's new play 'Bás Tongue' will run at the Project Arts Centre beginning Sept 19th)
The Dylan Project comes to the Pavillion Theatre in Dun Laoghaire this weekend. It brings together a great collaborative effort featuring Liam O'Maonlai, Ciara Sidine, Liam Carson, Colm Breathnach & Gabriel Rosenstock. John is joined in studio by Ciara & musician Alan Burke, Gabriel joins John on the line.
Ramadan, the thirty days of fasting from water & food from sunrise to sunset - in Marrakesh with Elaine Byrne on the line to John & from our Cork studio, two Irish women who are converts to Islam, Carol-Ann Duggan & Charlotte Morshed.
