1911 Census - What life was like back then

This week on The History Show, we’re taking you back to census day in 1911.

We’re be exploring how people lived back then compared with today’s population who are completing their 2011 census forms this evening.

We're also finding out what wider society was like, what music people listened to, as well as getting an insight into the politics of the day.

We start the programme with news, sport, weather and What It Says In the Papers for 3rd April 1911 - the day after the census.
