Programme 6: 20th August 2005
This is the final programme in the current series of The Bloom of Youth and what a way to end with two of TG4's recent 'young musicians of the year' - the prodigious fiddle player from Dublin, Liam O'Connor and Edel Fox from Miltown Malbay on concertina. Both are hailed as young leaders in their musical fields.

Programme 5: 13th August 2005
Singer Aodan O'Cheallaigh is a young traditional singer from An Rinn in Co. Waterford. He is quickly gaining a reputation for himself as an outstanding exponent of Sean Nos. This shouldn't be any great surprise as his mother is the renowned singer Áine Uí Cheallaigh. Aodan sings some of the songs he learned from his mother on the show.

Today's programme also features the great young flute player, Joey Doyle. This young man's reputation grows with every passing year and not only is he a wonderful and powerful flute player, but he is also an outstanding uileann piper.

Programme 4: 6th August 2005
Tonight, on the fourth programme in the series, we meet and hear the young Dublin Piper, James Mahon. James just completed his Leaving Certificate and is an accomplished flute player also. He toured Britain earlier this year with the Echoes of Erin Tour group. Ciara McDermott is a young tin whistle player from near Moate in Co. Westmeath. She flies the flag for traditional music in the midlands and played on Ceili House in Longford earlier this year.

Programme 3: 30th July 2005
On The Bloom of Youth this week we meet the Fermanagh accordion player Darren Breslin who, apart from his Fermanagh roots, says that Sligo box player John Regan has been hugely influential. Also on tonight's programme is young Connemara sean nos singer Sile Ní Scannlain whose attitude refreshing and whose singing is beautiful and enthralling.

Programme 2: 23rd July 2005

Tonight's two young musicians on The Bloom of Youth are Sean McKeon from Dublin, whose mother Mary plays the fiddle and piano and whose father Gay is an accomplished piper. Conor McEvoy is from Co. Meath, and his parents are well known musicians. His mother Jacinta plays concertina and piano while Conor's father is the well known fiddle player John McEvoy.
