The Bloom of Youth
The Bloom of Youth is a music series on RTÉ Radio 1, in place of Céili House, featuring some of our finest traditional musicians and singers between the ages of 18 and 30.

Each programme features two solo performers, playing or singing some of their favourite tunes and songs and talking to presenter Kieran Hanrahan about their music, their instrument and their influences.

Concertina and accordion player Mairead Corridan is one of the featured performers on tonight's Bloom of Youth along with Galway native Catríona Cannon on the harp.

The Bloom of Youth series continues tonight with Donegal fiddle player, Aidan O Donnell and Dublin tin-whistle player Christina Dolphin.

On tonight's Bloom of Youth we feature music from Caitlin NicGabhann on concertina from Co. Meath and, from Co. Wexford we have some wonderful singing from Darina Gleeson.
