    Fleadh in Derry

    This morning we are coming from the magnificient & historic surroundings of the Guildhall in Derry as the Fleadh as been making vibrations of foot tapping to the fiddles, flutes & bodhráns of the fleadh which has come across the border for the first time in history.

    In the next hour we will have performances from pipes, fiddles & Lambeg drums & music from award winning songstress Cara Dillon & Dervish. Plus Kathryn is taken on a musical tour of the town he loved so well, Phil Coulter. Beoga described as the best new traditional band to emerge from Ireland will perform Boxy, guests Julia Kee, former mayor Gearoid O'hEara, performances from Mairead NiMhaonaigh & from Canada, Troy McGillivray with Andrea Beaton & Matt Maclsaac....

    Phil Coulter Musical Tour of the town he loved so well

    He has written Eurovision winners, a song for Elvis Presley & he wrote the memorable Town I Loved So Well, about this very city.  Phil Coulter takes Kathryn on a musical tour of the city of Derry.
