A lively mix of topical stories, human interest and lifestyle features with Neil Delamere
The Irish Womens Rugby team beat Italy on Saint Patricks Day, in Milan, winning the Six Nations & Grand Slam! They received a lovely welcome at Dublin Airport yesterday & joining Neil on the line are Niamh Kavanagh & Fiona Coughlan, captain.
In the last number of weeks, we have played you a piece of tape featuring people we met on the streets with a conundrum. John Bela Reilly brings you another one this morning & we ask our listeners for their views.
When you are on TV, someone always comments on your appearance & there is one man who is seriously grateful for that this morning, on the line to Neil is TD Jim Daly to tell us why.
Neil's guest in studio is Paul O'Donoghue, a clinical psychologist & founder member of the Irish Skeptics Society. Paul looks at articles that read out as scientific facts, which just might be reasonable & true, but they are not...they are called pseudo facts & he is in studio to warn us about them!
If you mention the 'seanchí' or storyteller, you might think of a bearded old man with tales of old Ireland, but not in this case as in studio with Neil is a young woman from Carlow who makes a living from storytelling, Aideen McBride.
