    This morning we hear about a very unlikely music collaboration, between former X Factor winner Shayne Ward & Irish country singers Foster & Allen.  Shayne says he's always been a fan of country music & his dreams have come true, having recorded two songs  The Galway Girl & One Little Christmas Tree with the country duo.  John is joined by Foster & Allen along with Shayne Ward.

    Paul Potts - Tenor

    John's next guest is Paul Potts, the mobile phone shop worker from Port Talbot in Wales had a life changing moment when his rendition of 'Nessun Dorma' propelled him to victory on the X Factor Show six years ago. Now a film about his life has hit the cinemas, his autobioghraphy will soon be published & an album released.

    Mundy & Roisin O - chat & music

    Mundy and Roisin O are two of Ireland's best-loved musicians & are in studio for a chat & performance. They've given their support to the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre by collaborating on a new single called 'Turn Off The Silence' to help generate funds for the charity.

    First they’re going to do a duet of a Pixies song, (in honour of John's return), called 'Here Comes Your Man'.

    The new single “Turn Off The Silence” will be available on iTunes this Friday, November 8, but as all monies go to counselling, you can make any donation today on Dublin Rape Crisis Centre website - www.drcc.ie

    Jimmy MacCarthy returns by popular demand

    We had singer songwriter Jimmy MacCarthy on our show in September, as he was about to head off on a nationwide tour. Because of the extraordinary response to his appearance, many of you requested other songs of Jimmy's that we simply had not time for. Jimmy is back in studio with us this morning as his tour is coming to an end.  Also joining us on the line are Mary Black, Brian Kennedy & Mary Coughlan.  Jimmy was accompanied on piano by Rob Burke.
