    It's been a busy few months for Sinead O'Connor, from announcing she would no longer be singing "Nothing Compares 2U", news that she's an expectant grandmother & an application to join Sinn Fein to writing a new national anthem for Ireland & of course touring the chart-topping album "I'm Not Bossy, I'm the Boss".

    Sinead joins Brendan in studio this morning.

    Brendan's musical guests are a band that have refined their craft through busking city streets from Dublin to Los Angeles & the band's work has paid off, their debut album 'The Message' has reached double platinum sales status!

    Their music has been compared to the hymnal quality of Fleet Foxes & the folk melodies of Simon & Garfunkel. Their debut album Rhythm of Dawn is receiving rave reviews & brothers Jamie and Richie Martin, aka Cry Monster Cry, are in studio with Brendan for a chat & performance.

    Last year we saw entrants representing almost every town in the country & every conceivable genre of music. In studio we have last years winner Chanele McGuinness & Sat Night TV Show presenter Brendan O'Connor.

    He is one of the most successful indie musicans in the country but no-one knows who he is, so says Gavin Dunne.  Musician Gavin has had over 50 million YouTube hits & over 6 million streams on Spotify todate & he joins John in studio this morning to talk about his niche but worldwide fanbase.

    Just back from Germany, Donegal singer Mickey Harte has been a mainstay of the Irish roots & popular music scene for more than 10 years - with multiple top 20 hits & Platinum records to his name. Mickey joins John in studio to singe his latest single titled 'Wish You Well'.

    John speaks to singer songwriter from New York city, Rachael Sage who has just released her new album called 'Blue Roses' & before she finished touring Ireland last week, she dropped into studio for chat & performance.

    Kildare woman Inni-K has been hard at work & her new album launches today, it is called 'The King has Two Horses Ears' & Inni-K joins John for a chat & performance with songs from the album.


    David Varley - rugby & music

    Damien Varley had to cut short his career in rugby as the 31-year-old picked up the injury to his left foot during a training session in July 2013. Damien was a Munster hooker & has 3 caps for Ireland % made 121 appearances for the province, scoring 12 tries. Damien is also a keen musician he was known for his musical talents while singing on many a rugby tour. Damien joins John in studio for a chat & performance.


    Vladimir & Anton Jablokov

    Vladimir & Anton Jablokov are Slovakian sibling musicians with a shared rare gift - mastery of the classical violin - & are set to join forces on the stage of the National Concert Hall this Easter Saturday, 4th April 2015 as part of their nationwide tour. Vladimir & Anton join John in studio for a chat & performance.
