    The Confidence Question

    There were a few good news stories this week. The ratings agency Standard and Poors upgraded its outlook on Ireland's Credit Rating; consumer sentiment was reported to be at its highest level for almost six years and a report showed business confidence among chief executives at its highest level since 2007. So is it just a case that the sunshine has gone to everyone's heads? ISME's Mark Fielding and Michael Dawson of the Gift Voucher Shop discuss.

    The Intel Insider

    Craig Barrett spent nearly 40 years in one of the world's best-known companies, rising through the ranks before eventually becoming Chief Executive and Chairman. His company, Intel, also became one of the biggest foreign investors in Ireland during his tenure, spending more than $7 billion and creating over 4,000 Irish jobs. He retired from the board of Intel in 2009. However, he has maintained his involvement in helping Ireland, taking on the role of Chairman of the Irish Technology Leadership Group in Silicon Valley. He joins us now from Montana.
