Kildare native Susan McReynolds steps in for Marian Finucane on Saturday mornings during July and August.  Susan will have a mix of news, interviews, reports and discussion on the programme.

Susan McReynolds

Susan was born in Athy, Co. Kildare and grew up in Dublin's north side. She moved to Northern Ireland in 1989 where she studied at the University of Ulster in Coleraine. She graduated with a degree in English Literature and completed her doctorate in Irish women's literature in 1999.
 
She then taught in the Media Studies Department of the University before joining BBC Radio Foyle in Derry where she has been presenting her daily morning magazine programme for six years.

Susan will be presenting Saturday with Susan McReynolds on RTÉ Radio 1 during July and August 2006. The show will feature a mix of interviews, reports and studio discussion and you can tune in from July 1st at 11am until 12:55pm.
