Christmas Miscellany 2009

There is a treat in store this Christmas morning as Sunday Miscellany and the RTE Concert Orchestra collaborate for the first time in a programme recorded with a live audience in Studio 1 in the RTE Radio Centre with a feast of seasonal new writing new writing from Gina Moxley, Nuala Smith, Rita Ann Higgins, James Harpur, Cathy Power and Brendan Graham.

Music is provided by The RTE Concert Orchestra conducted by Gearóid Grant.

Maria Doyle Kennedy sings Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas accompanied by the RTE Concert Orchestra. Iarla Ó Lionáird sings Oíche Chiúin accompanied by Graham Henderson on Piano.
