This programme, originally broadcast in May 2009, to mark the publication of The Life and After Life of PH Pearse - Pádraig Mac Piarais: Saol agus Oidhreacht edited by Roisin Higgins and Regina Uí Chollatáin, was recently short-listed for a 2009 PPI National Radio Award. The programme is breing re-broadcast to mark the 130th aniversary of the birth of Patrick Pearse on this week on Tuesday 10 November.

All the spoken contributions were written specially for this radio programme. The programme was recorded live in front of an audience in the Pearse Museum, Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin.
