    This Sunday Miriam will be speaking to two Cork residents, who also happened to be Oscar winners. Jeremy Irons is to be made an honorary Cork man and will receive his award from last year’s inaugural recipient, Oscar-winning film producer, Lord David Puttnam. The two will talk to Miriam about their friendship, their amazing careers and their love for their home county of Cork

    Here is a famous scene from the film The Mission on which Jeremy and David worked together. The scene features the iconic score by Ennio Morricone


    We will also have some amazing live music from The Henry Girls - Here is the video from their song ''Ol' Cook Pot''


    And we'll be catching up with the Irish Director/Producer partnership who are behind the amazing films 'Adam and Paul', 'Garage' and 'What Richard Did' as they introduce their latest film to the crowds at Sundance. Ed Guiney and Lenny Abrahamson will be talking to us from the festival in Utah where their latest film 'Frank' is receiving it's world premiere

    Miriam spoke to actress Orla Brady who has starred on television here in Ireland, in America with series like 'Nip Tuck' and in the U.K with the hugely successful 'Mistresses'. And at Christmas Orla met 'The Doctor'!


    Paul Muldoon

    Poet Paul Muldoon spoke about his life and work and about the loss last year of his great friend and mentor Seamus Heaney
