Sue Russell presents a new 6-part series 'Just Like Starting Over' examining life of older people in residential care.

As the proportion of older people in Ireland increases,  for many, old age has come as an unexpected surprise. What kind of life is there in residential care? And how does it affect the family unit? How do older people in care stay fit and healthy, creative and expressive? How can we involve young people in the lives of older people? And what are the expectations of young people for life when they are old? Sue will also look at the great taboo: talking about death. When older people are facing the prospect of death, what emotional and practical support is provided? And
could we do more to ensure that everyone can meet death with dignity?
