Drogheda Port welcomes 6 Tall Ships to the town during the Drogheda Fringe Festival in May this year. Its the inaugural Tall Ships event to be held in the Port and the ships will arrive in Drogheda on Friday 3rd May they will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, 4th & 5th May, before departing for Liverpool on Monday, 6th.
Drogheda Port is the first port of call for these vessels who will also visit Dublin, Belfast, Liverpool, Whitehaven and Warrenpoint during the months of May and June. The ships will berth in the port on the Ballast and Deepwater Quays which in conjunction with Drogheda Port Company will be open over the bank holiday weekend with plenty to see and do on the dockside as well as on the river Boyne.
