Three years ago today, Mohamed Bouazizi, a 26 year old Tunisian Street vendor, set himself on fire in the Tunisian city of Sidi Bouzid. His act of demonstration sparked the Tunisian Revolution and set in train the Arab Spring. The events that followed led to the President of Tunisia, Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali leaving the country. Today, Sidi Bouzid is preparing to commemorate the third anniversary of the Uprising. But is Tunisia anywhere near where it wished to be three years ago, when all this began?
