On Sunday evening, Egyptian President, Mohamed Morsi, declared a 30-day state of emergency and curfew in the three Suez canal provinces – Port Said, Ismailiya and Suez amid ongoing civil unrest there. Hundreds of thousands of Egyptians have taken to the streets in 12 of the country's 21 provinces to protest against the President, the Muslim Brotherhood, and police brutality. But amid the protests, at least 25 women have been sexually assaulted during clashes in Tahrir Square, that’s according to local women’s right campaigners.
