    As thousands of pupils return to school this week, some schools will be missing a teacher.  It all depends on their pupil numbers and the loss of a teacher when those numbers dip is felt most keenly in our smaller rural schools.  In Caherdane National School in the Parish of Allihies in West Cork, a dip in their numbers has meant a drop from three teachers to just two.  So how will this affect them?  Valerie Cox has been to the Beara Penninsula to meet teachers and parents and Sean spoke with Sheila Nunan, INTO General Secretary.
