Increase in birth, marriage and death registration fees

John has worked as a registrar for many years. Last Wednesday was one of the most embarrassing of his career because of the increase in fees for birth, marriage and death certs. He had couples turning up that day to serve notification of their marriage not aware that the fee had increased by €50.
