    As the property market heats up once more, not only in Dublin - last week it was reported that a mini boom was being experienced across the country with an average annual price increase of 6.2% nationwide – that’s according to the Real Estate Alliance, there are signs that it is becoming a sellers' market.     Demand for family homes in Dublin is outstripping supply and driving property prices up, that’s according to a CSO Report which found that prices in the capital soared by more than 12% over the last year to September, with the price of a house up 4.2% since August So who is buying up all this property?     Buying a house from abroad

    Marie and her partner Dermot are currently living in Australia but have been trying to buy a property in Ireland as they hope to return to live here. They have attempted to get a mortgage from various lending agencies but have been turned down. They wondered had other listeners been in their situation and had bought a property. They don't want to buy a property in Australia as they are in the middle of a property boom there and houses have become very expensive.
