    The Public Accounts Committee is this morning discussing the possibility of compelling former Rehab chief executives to answer questions before it. Frank Flannery and Angela Kerins have declined the committee’s invitations to attend today. The PAC will hear from other Rehab figures, but what will they do about the decision of these two key former executives not to attend? Simon Harris, Fine Gael TD and PAC member spoke to Sean this morning.


    The revelations that the former Chief Executive of the Central Remedial Clinic, Paul Kiely received top up payments and a €740,000 severance package provoked further revelations over the weekend with Hamilton Goulding former CRC chairman disclosing that he was unaware of Mr Kiely’s salary until a year after becoming chair and defending the severance package. Mr Goulding said the severance deal ‘saved money in the long term.’ And now according to Daniel McConnell Political Correspondent of the Irish Independent crucial internal documents relating to Mr Kiely’s pension deal cannot be found. Sean spoke to Daniel McConnell this morning.
