Over a year ago Brian O’Connell reported from one of the first New Beginning conferences in Limerick about how the group of legal and other professionals were helping guide people through solving their debt problems. Since then, New Beginning has continued to travel the country offering advice as well as lobbying government for solutions to our debt problems. While some high profile builders and business people have left the country to avail of bankruptcy arrangements in the UK and elsewhere there is no escape for tens of thousands of Irish people who are being chased for what they owe the banks.
