This morning the programme is in Connolly Station to begin a week-long celebration of the best of Irish music, RTE in collaboration with the Irish Rail are taking you on the BIG MUSIC TRAIN across the country to capture the brilliant music being played & created. On our programme this morning we kick-start the music week with Kodaline & RTE Concert Orcestra, Paul Brady, Bugle Babes, Lisa O'Neill, Luka Bloom, Damien Dempsey & RTE CO with Train House Band, Bronagh Gallagher & the Artane Boys Band.
These are our three finalists from over 550 entrants to the John Murray Show/Saturday Night Show emerging music competition. Chanele McGuinness, Gary Showbiz and The New Transmission will battle it out in our live Studio 8 final on the John Murray Show on Thursday, May 29th for that coveted slot on the Saturday Night Show on May 31st.
